Ten years is a long time in hospitality. Since 2015, our properties across Western Canada have welcomed countless guests, grown their teams, and earned recognition from our brand partners, industry associations and the communities we call home. As we look back on 2015 to 2025, we want to celebrate the people behind every one of these milestones.

Recognized as a leading Canadian hotel company

Mundi Hotel Enterprises was named one of Canada’s Top 50 Hotel Companies by Hotelier Magazine in 2019. It’s a milestone that reflects the work of every team member across our portfolio.

Coast Hotels: a decade of consistency

Few hotel brands can point to ten years of recognition within the communities they serve quite like the Coast Hotel brand. Here are some of the highglights from over the years:

2018: Coast Prince George won Excellence in Hospitality, presented by Prince George Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards
2023: Coast Prince George won the Housekeeping Award, presented by BC Hotel Association Awards of Excellence

Best Western Plus Kelowna: leading on sustainability

Sustainability has long been part of how Best Western Plus Kelowna Hotel & Suites operates. That commitment earned the hotel a spot as a finalist for the Environmental Impact Award at the 34th Annual Business Excellence Awards in 2021. In 2025, it was named a Sustainability Champion finalist at the BC Hotel Association Awards of Excellence, alongside some of the province’s top properties.

Pomeroy Hotel & Conference Centre Fort St. John: chosen by the community

In 2025, Pomeroy Hotel & Conference Centre was voted both Best Hotel and Best Place for Business Meetings in the North Peace People’s Choice Awards. Recognition from the community we serve every day means a great deal to us.
