Hyatt Place Vancouver Metrotown Gets the Green Light

We’re proud to share a major milestone for Mundi Hotel Enterprises. The City of Burnaby has approved converting the first 10 floors of the Highline Metrotown tower at 4498 Beresford Street from office space into a hotel. That approval cleared the way for Hyatt Place Vancouver/Metrotown.

The hotel has 159 guest rooms in one of Burnaby’s best-connected locations. It sits right beside Metrotown SkyTrain Station and the bus exchange, and steps from Metropolis at Metrotown. Guests get free Wi-Fi, a 24/7 fitness centre, a 24/7 market, and SoBu: The Social Corner, a lounge for meeting up or winding down.

For business travelers, Metrotown puts downtown Vancouver, YVR and the wider region within easy reach by transit. For leisure guests, the area’s shopping, dining and entertainment are right outside the door.

This project adds to our growing portfolio of hotels across Western Canada, and we’re excited to welcome guests to Metrotown.
