Watching It Come to Life
Global News BC has featured a story on our upcoming new hotel build in Penticton, BC. Project completion date is set for 2023. Our new hotel development will be located across from the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre. The hotel will offer 100-110 rooms, some with kitchenettes, and a direct pedestrian connection to the convention centre.

A Vision Years in the Making
This project has been a long time coming for Penticton. As the Penticton Herald reported when the city and our team finalized the agreement, the six-storey hotel will rise on a city-owned lot at 903 Vernon Avenue, with a dedicated $600,000, city-funded pedestrian walkway linking it directly to the convention centre.

Mayor John Vassilaki, who has long championed bringing accommodations to the doorstep of the PTCC, called the announcement one that "significantly improves the ability of this important city asset to attract additional conferences." For our part, Ron Mundi noted the property will bring "an internationally recognized brand" to a site with "easy access to the facilities" that event organizers and guests rely on. For years, the convention centre had operated without a hotel attached to it — a gap that limited the size and scale of the conferences Penticton could realistically host. This development was designed to close that gap for good.
Breaking Ground
Construction on the project officially got underway with a groundbreaking ceremony, as detailed on the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre's own site. The hotel will be branded Four Points by Sheraton and will offer 105 rooms across six storeys, along with a 100-seat restaurant, a rooftop patio, and a swimming pool — amenities designed with both business travellers and conference-goers in mind. Mayor Vassilaki summed up what the milestone meant to the city: "I've been fighting for a new hotel, a good size hotel, to come to Penticton for at least 30 years, maybe more."
What's Ahead
With the pedestrian connection to the convention centre, in-house dining, and rooftop views over the city, Four Points Penticton at the Convention Centre is shaping up to be exactly the kind of property Penticton has wanted for decades — a true extension of the PTCC experience, not just a hotel down the street. We're honoured to be the team bringing it to life, and we can't wait to welcome conference-goers and travellers alike once the doors open.
Stay tuned for more updates as construction continues!
